The Punjab Times is an exquisite Newspaper, a leader in its own category. I revered Amolak Singh Jammu, who in spite of his health issues, took this paper to the heights it is at today. But I must remind its readers the role of the talented and relentless force behind this phenomenon – Jaspreet Kaur. She took care of not only Mr. Amolak Singh, her husband, but kept his dream alive by working by his side day and night and sacrificing every minute of her life in keeping this -proud-of-Punjabis shining even in the most difficult days of her life. I love this paper!

ਇਸ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਦਾ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਭਾਗ, ਦੂਜੀਆਂ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਰਸਾਲਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹੀ ਆਨਲਾਇਨ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਲਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਰੇਡੀਓ ਤੇ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਦੀਆ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਮਗਰੀ , ਲੇਖ, ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਰਸਾਲੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਕਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਮਿਲਣ ਤਾਂ ਨਵਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਘਟ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਥੇ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਟਾਈਮਜ਼ ਤਾਜ਼ੀ ਸਮਗਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛਾਪਦੀ।
ਕੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਹੈ, ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ?
Punjab Times is my favorite newspaper. Because most of other Punjabi newspapers are hard to read online, due to ads that overlap the readable material. Punjab Times deserves thanks.
But there is one shortcoming. Most of the content in Punjab Times is copied from other daily newspapers and magazines.
The news section is expected to be stale as it is a weekly newspaper. But the rest of the contents can be given new. Most of the articles, stories, film part etc. is second hand.
Are there not enough writers who want to publish their material in the Punjab Times? Do you lack time? What is the reason?
